Fellowship Award Request Form

Please complete the Fellowship and Award Request form to request an award or a fellowship for a SSHA graduate student.
 
This form must be completed by a UC Merced faculty member. If completed by a non-UC Merced faculty member, processing may be delayed or cancelled.

Deadlines to submit completed Graduate Student Fellowships Awards to Graduate Funding for processing:

Fall 2025 - November 21, 2025

Spring 2026 - May 4, 2026

Summer 2026 - April 6, 2026

  1. Any form submitted for a term after the term’s final deadline must include an exception request for the Graduate Dean to review and approve or deny.
  2. Passing the summer deadline will delay an award from disbursing on time; usually by the second week of June. Please review the refund process.
  3. Awards submitted to the Graduate Division after the fiscal close deadline will not reflect within the current fiscal year and will be charged against the next fiscal year funds.
  4. Please reference Graduate Funding's guide for Principal Investigators and Budget Officers for gradaute student fellowships and awards.
